Famous Amos Social Launch

As an Associate Creative Director at Day One, I helped lead the creative for Famous Amos’s US social launch. After being acquired by Ferrara, Famous Amos underwent a brand refresh and positioned itself as a gourmet cookie that sourced global ingredients. To launch their US social presence, we composed a 9-grid that featured three vertical pillars focused on each of their new flavors: Belgian Chocolate, Philippine Coconut, and Mediterranean Hazelnuts; and used each flavor’s distinct packaging color to tie these columns together.

Famous Amos Paid Content

To help boost the launch of their new cookies, Famous Amos also presented us with a brief to create a series of paid ads that focused on the premium nature of the product and to highlight their globally sourced ingredients. To achieve this, we also added audio to each of these assets that reflect each location, creating a full sensory experience online.

Famous Amos Organic Content

One of the main challenges (and the #1 question we ask ourselves) we often face when creating content is how to stop people in their scrolls in an oversaturated digital world. As we looked at other existing cookie brands and also took into account what new rising trends were happening on social, we realized that focusing one of our content pillars on creating surreal worlds where Famous Amos could take you felt ownable to us. Below are a few of my favorite concepts that we created.
