Fashion Week

One of my favorite times of the year is Fashion Week. I love the seeing what new designs walk down the aisle and drawing parallels to the discipline of graphic design: seeing layers of different colors and textures to create a finished piece. What really captivates me is the behind the scenes-- it's an intimate glance at what goes on backstage and a peek into the process that goes into the entire production. It's always fun to see the attitude of the models BTS, which really gives life to the clothing. The challenge that I gave myself was to explore the architecture of fabric and detail of texture through the use of line, while keeping things fun!
